“Every Picture Tells a Story” -
History Through Portraiture
A look at the social & political history of London from Tudor times to the early twentieth century through portraits in the National Portrait Gallery. This tour aims to contextualise the development of aspects of modern Britain and looks at the lives of some of the characters who have led, shaped and in some cases subverted that development.
"Patrick is engaging, knowledgable and fun. He put the portraits into historical context brightening history with witty asides and bijoux factoids. Strongly recommend!” -
