“I went on Patrick's Literary Pub walk the other day and loved it. A wonderful stroll through Fitzrovia and down into Soho taking in beautiful pubs in which the great and not so great drank and argued and loved in a thoroughly bohemian fashion. This is a walk for those who feel nostalgia for the era of smokey boozers filled with bad behaving artists of both the genuine and piss variety (quite often both) living their lives freely and publicly. I thought I knew a lot on the subject but Pat knows more but he wears it lightly and tells the tales in an engaging manner greatly assisted by his baritone voice and great stage presence.”

“Two hours of pure learning and taking in the amazing history of the London Clubs. Patrick's knowledge was unrelenting and his professionalism and passion for London shone through.
Book Patrick and you won't be disappointed. My first tour, but won't be my last.”

"I’ve lived in Marylebone for 30 years, but I was amazed at how many places and facts on this tour were completely new to me. The material was both interesting and surprising, and Patrick made it all come alive – he’s an engaging presenter and a very nice guy. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover more about the area, whether you know nothing about the area or have lived here for decades.”

"I’d heard about Patrick’s walks, his towering intellect, infectious wit and enthusiasm for London and its past. I asked him to create a tour of Chelsea ‘creativity and scandal’ for 18 friends to mark my 60th birthday. Oh, and with a pub in the middle. It was a triumph and turned a memorable date into an unforgettable day. So much so we dragged him along to lunch afterwards and he left with 18 new friends”

"Patrick created a walking tour of some of Chelsea’s literary greats for a birthday. He was really knowledgeable and funny and I particularly liked the fact he focused more on the authors’ lives than the works themselves, bringing each person to life. Thoroughly recommend him”

" Brilliantly engaging tour of blue plaque, multi cultural Chelsea writers/poets/performers from one year resident Mark Twain to permanent residents Oscar Wilde, PLTravers etc… Anecdotes and humorous/sometimes salacious facts from a natural storyteller and enthusiast. 5* plus. Patrick hit the spot, our crowd and the brief to perfection. Including a welcome, warming pub stop. Am already plotting a brief for a family Christmas tour… couldn’t recommend more highly. “
